Elopement

What is an elopement ceremony?

To ‘elope’ has historically meant “to run away secretly with the intention of getting married usually without parental consent.

“
Nowadays elope appears to have become shorthand for “small destination wedding,” “wedding that is not financially insane,” or “wedding that allows us to not invite all the people we would rather not invite.”

But in my experience an elopement has become a special celebration of deep love between two people and their commitment to each other.

More and more couples decide to elope in Sardinia to make their wedding feel more intimate, romantic and personal.
A simple ceremony with the person you love in a special place is a wonderful way to make this day truly yours!

This is also valid for those couples who have been married before. The idea of being just the two of them can be the perfect solution, whether they have already done a larger event or they simply want to focus on the significance of their new wedding.
